I think I might be watching too many films

Our General Manager, Robin Parker, takes a tongue in cheek look at how lockdown has influenced our film watching habits during the last weeks.

We are now 9 ½ Weeks (1986) into lock down and I really feel it is About Time (2013) we should be thinking about The Family (2013) Summer Holiday! (1963). Unfortunately, though it looks unlikely that we will be stepping on to an Airplane (1980) anytime soon.

With The Holiday (2006) and The Beach (2000) proving to be Mission Impossible (1996) What are our alternatives? Well This is England (2006) and there are lots of things we can do, we could go Trainspotting (1996) or  there is always Manchester by the Sea (2016), although I wouldn’t have Great Expectations (1946) about either of these, even though they were my daughter Sophies Choice (1982).

So, If (1968) you are still not yet resigned to being Home for the Holidays (1995) and are wanting to get away from those Bad Neighbours (2014) and Horrible Bosses (2011) I hear that you will soon be able to Carry on Camping (1969). I know this won’t be A Perfect Getaway (2009) for everyone but it will be better than being Home Alone (1990) or Trapped (2002) indoors with the The Family (2013).

I know Some Like it Hot (1959) and can’t wait for The Great Escape (1963) but we all must Do The Right Thing (1989) and stay alert and yes, watch even more Netflix!
