On 9 April 2019 Church House Westminster was the venue for an event calling for a second Brexit referendum.

The People’s Vote rally featured several campaigners, including former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq, ex-Commons speaker Baroness Betty Boothroyd, Sam Gyimah MP, Anna Turley MP, and the Chief Minister of Gibraltar.

Politicians from across the political spectrum were joined by people from across the country who voted leave in 2016.

The packed Assembly Hall soon reached standing-only capacity, including the viewing gallery on the upper floor. A mood of optimism was palpable as speakers took to the stage.

Complete audio-visual production including video slides and lighting stings were produced by the expert in-house AV technicians of Church House Westminster.

Robin Parker, GM of Church House Westminster, commented: “With this event, the latest episode of the Brexit story, our central location in the heart of Westminster has again reinforced Church House’s versatility as a venue in hosting large gatherings and high-profile speakers in a contemporary setting using the latest event technology to create a successful event.”.
