Church House hosted a formal reception of 100 Days To Peace

On the evening of Thursday 6th September the Royal Armouries hosted 250 guests in the Assembly Hall at Church House, at a formal reception for the generous supporters of 100 Days to Peace.

This gala evening of music and reflection featuring Sir Karl Jenkins conducting The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, performed by the Royal Choral Society and the Philharmonia Orchestra, will take place in the presence of HRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. 100 Days to Peace marks the centenary of the final days of First World War hostilities, raising funds for veterans facing mental health challenges through three outstanding charities: Combat Stress, Help for Heroes and Heads Together – the Royal Foundation’s campaign and mental health initiative.

Claire Cox, Royal Armouries Head of Development notes ‘We are delighted to be working with a historic venue like Church House on this prestigious occasion. The beautiful Assembly Hall provides an ideal backdrop for our formal reception, providing a high calibre event for the generous supporters of this unique evening.’

Robin Parker General Manager at Church House Westminster commented: “We are delighted to be hosting the reception prior to this prestigious concert at Central Hall which is supporting so many amazing charities. Church House has a long history of hosting similar events for the various armed forces, and it is an honour to be involved once again. ”

Church House Westminster is one of London’s most versatile event venues. The AIM Gold accredited venue offers 19 flexible event spaces, which accommodate between 2 and 664 guests, and hosts a wide variety of events including meetings, conferences, awards ceremonies, gala dinners and receptions.
