Food trends, our Head Chef`s view

With an ever increasing importance on food trends and our clients wanting to feed their delegates well, we spoke to our Head Chef, Pari, to hear his views on what’s trending in the industry and how that influences our menus.

Pari has extensive knowledge and experience working in kitchens across the world, and now he is bringing this to Church House Westminster.

Pari joined as Head Chef here in November 2016. Having previously worked at One Birdcage Walk, world-renowned hotel chains such as Hilton Worldwide, Hand Picked Hotels and Hendon Golf Club as well as working in India and the US.

He comments: “It is exciting to be working in such a well-respected venue. To be given the challenge of creating innovative menus was what attracted me to the role. The needs of our clients and the seasonality of ingredients are two key elements which inspire my menus and there have been some very exciting opportunities at Church House to create memorable menus. We also need to be able to adapt to ever-changing food trends. At the moment we are seeing many more requests for rustic, regional style menus and Japanese, Mexican and Street Food cuisine are also popular choices. With the internet creating more food trends it is important to stay ahead of these so we can work with clients and the team to produce innovative food choices.”
