As the year progresses, it is becoming even more apparent that 2008 is going to be an absolutely huge record breaker. I'm so excited!
When the beginning of the year went so well, I was cautiously optimistic about the rest of the year. With rumours of a global recession, it was difficult to imagine conference and event bookings being able to sustain the predicted downward economic shift.
Here at Church House, we don't seem to be suffering any negative effects at all. Enquiries for meetings, conferences, receptions, award ceremonies and formal dinners are pouring in and by the end of the 2008 we anticipate that turnover will be in excess of £4.7 million, our best year by far.
We're already celebrating our success in the Meetings & Incentive Travel Industry Awards. Read on to find out just how well we did. We're also gearing up to our annual client party. As with all Church House parties it's going to be full of fun, music and food and drink. I do hope you will join us!
