The International Somali Awards once again celebrated the achievements of the global Somali community at Church House in Westminster on Wednesday 15th March.
The awards were attended by 200 distinguished guests but attracted a global audience of 180,000 people through the awards social media reach, providing an opportunity for Somalis across the globe to unite.
It is the second time the awards, which are organised by The Anti-Tribalism Movement, have been held at Church House Westminster. The awards honour the achievements of the worldwide Somali community and pay tribute to inspiring success stories from all walks of life, recognising inspirational role models from the fields of business, social work, sports, education and entertainment.
The winners were

- Outstanding Educational Achievement – Ahmed Adam Roble
- Best Entertainment Award – Ahmed Naji Sacad
- Innovation Award – Somali National Minnesota Museum
- Outstanding Community Contribution – Abdimalik Muse Oldon
- Lifetime achievement Award – Dr Hawa Abdi
