Summer Food Sensations

The introduction of a selection of seasonal menus at Church House has been such a resounding success that all recent dinners have opted for our special seasonal offering.

These days the majority of produce is available all year round but we all know that it is at its very best when in season and the ‘food miles’ are kept to a minimum. Even though the season is short, what can be better than fresh English asparagus or plump English strawberries with cream?

Over the next few weeks our Head Chef, Norman Webb, is looking forward to introducing seasonal favourites such as fresh peas, new potatoes, runner beans, cherries, raspberries, blueberries and even gooseberries to the menu at Church House.
