Visit London Launches London Business Tourism Champions at International CONFEX
Leading industry figures to promote London's £5 billion business tourism industry Visit London has called on representatives across the industry to become the first London Business Tourism Champions (LBTC). The group, consisting of international representatives from across the capital, will use their profile to raise awareness of London's growing business tourism industry to an international audience. Their first briefing takes place today at International Confex. The LBTC will be used as a significant collective voice in commenting on London, within their day to day business lives, through speaking opportunities, sales trips and in the media. In return, Visit London will provide regular personal briefings and updates on key issues affecting London. David Hornby, Commercial Director of Visit London, commented: "The LBTC are an indication of our desire to have a more joined up approach to selling London. We have harnessed a cross section of key figures within the industry to work in partnership with us in promoting London as the best city for business."
